Feedback and Commendations
"Just a quick note to thank you for a wonderful performance on the 29th October 2006 at the Safe@Last charity dinner. I think it goes without saying that the audience were delighted with your performance and I must say that our principal guest, the Earl of Scarborough, has asked me to associate his name with this letter.

The evening was a great success and I very much look forward to working with you again in the future on other projects."

- Stephen D. Smith MBE

"Just a short note to thank you for your contribution to our 71st Charter Dinner. Everyone I have spoken to thoroughly enjoyed your performance - and all have a favourite gag that they can't quite remember!!

Many thanks and no doubt I will see you again."

- Andy Leslie, Chairman, Doncaster Round Table No 7

"Just a short note to thank you once again for your excellent contribution to our Sportsman's Dinner.

We were very impressed with your performance and will certainly be recommending you to other people."

- Glynn Skelton, Club Leader, Burnley Boys' Club

"Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed your speeches last week in London and Cardiff.

We have had fabulous feedback and are looking forward to seeing you in Manchester at Christmas."

- Mike Newlin, MBN Promotions

"Many thanks for the dinner you did for us at Halifax Town recently, it was a great success and we managed to raise much needed revenue of approximately £5k for the club.

Yourself, Steve and Malcolm were excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending any of you to anyone else.

Once again many thanks and look forward to seeing you soon."

- Elaine Jowett, Halifax Town FC

"Our 2003 Annual Golf Day broke all records and was our best ever. Saying Gary Marshall was the star of the evening must be the biggest understatement ever made. After dinner he was sensational and it's now obvious why his wife left the room before he started his hilarious routine. None of the audience will ever travel on a train again without remembering him describe the first time he met her. I've organised events for over thirty years but I've never seen an audience so doubled up with laughter, nor have I witnessed so many people queueing up to personally thank and shake the hand of an entertainer. My advice to anyone who wants a genuinely funny man to entertain their guests is to book Gary. 130 of us can't wait to see him again and his diary must be filling up quickly."

- Mike Walker, Fundraising Manager, Beecwood Cancer Care Centre, Stockport

"Just a few words of thanks for all your efforts on the evening of the ball, which resulted in the event being such an enormous success.

The amount raised at the time of writing this letter is just under £30,000 which is a fantastic achievement and will go a long way to helping the Macmillan Rotherham Appeal reach its £600,000 target."

- Di Clark, Macmillan Ball Committee Chairman

"Gary Marshall - What a find!! Gary was just magnificent. Again, he interracted well with our guests and his humour and delivery ranked with some of the best ever heard. How good to have such an outstanding entertainer."

- Adrian Bailey, Regional Sales Executive, NIG

"Just a short note to say thank you very much for you time and efforts at the Huddersfield Town Golf Classic at Fixby on Thursday 8th May, and please accept my apologies for the delay in writing.

You were fantastic and did a great job on the raffle and auction and the comments received from those who attended have been excellent. From Lisa and myself, once again our sincere thanks for a job well done."

- Tracy Nelson, Commercial Sales, Huddersfield Town AFC

"I am just writing to thank you for your excellent speech on Friday night. The evening was a great success raising £1530. This was our sixth dinner and best yet mainly down to yourself and Paul.

Many people came up to me at the end of the evening complementing me on the quality of the speakers. I think you will agree the quality of the food helped make the evening a success"

- Scholes Junior FC

"Just a belated letter of gratitude for the wonderful job you did at our recent Dinner Dance at the York Racecourse. The evening was a tremendous success made even more so by your excellent contribution.

We are now looking forward to next year's event and with this in mind, I would be grateful if you could confirm your availability as "Master of Ceremonies" on Friday 19th September 2003.

Once again, my sincere thanks and I hope you enjoyed the evening as much as we did."

- Colin J. Graves, Chairman, Dunnington Cricket Club

"I would just like to drop you a line to say how grateful I am for your help on Friday at our Sporting Dinner.

Your contribution made it one of the most successful nights we have had at Turf Moor.

It is always difficult to find a high quality comedian such as yourself, some of our guests are still in stitches!!

Once again many thanks"

- Anthony Fairclough, Commercial Manager, Burnley FC

- Peter Salter, Commercial Manager, York City FC
